Something for Nothing

Hi, boys and girls, as well as parents and families. Not only is this something for nothing, it is really an enormous, free source of web sites, with useful programs that can be downloaded, that's right, for no cost. None. Nothing. There are games, word programs, financial, music, and photo programs, plus much more. Watch the video, and learn more about what is available on the internet, that can take you places you have never imagined going.

Dear Students,

December 4, 2007

Dear Students,

Since this is the season of giving, I would like you to wish for something you would like to have for Christmas, or during this holiday season. It is to be something that cannot be wrapped in a package or box, and something that cannot be held or carried. For example, you may wish to have peace on the earth, and tell why. Or, you may wish that every child has enough food to eat, and why. Also, you could wish for one of your ill relatives to become healthy, then tell how that person's life would be better.

Please follow the correct letter-writing form, just like this letter. Use the word "Dear" in your greeting . You may write your letter to me, or to Santa. Your letter is due to me by December 17th. If you have any questions, please ask me.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Steinke

Prefixes and Suffixes

We are quickly learning many new words by studying prefixes and suffixes. Mrs. Steinke is hopeful that her students will not disappoint her with their enthusiasm, and will eagerly review all the new words that have reappeared on their pretest. If you are careful you can locate many words in this paragraph that have pre- or suf-fixes. If, for some unknown reason, you are unable to find all of the words, reread the paragraph. For more practice, please visit . Then, Mrs. Steinke can reteach her lesson with more completeness.
